"The Grinch got a wonderful, awful idea!"
After an unexpected boost of support from the folks who stopped by from Equestria Daily, I went into a feverish state of motivation, energy, and determination yesterday (which, in retrospect, was also because of the amount of coffee I had consumed). Because of that, I did a butt-ton of animating and got this bad boy done! I remember starting this what seemed like forever ago! (ie, last month)
(Sidenote: Let's appreciate that Chuck Jones had such a cool and weird way to contort faces. Look at all those wrinkles!)
Anyway, this was a lot of fun to draw, and it made me realize that I can actually (hopefully) animate faster than I thought I could, which means more animations (and sore fingers)! So yay, progress!
Thanks so much for the support!

this is awesome, capturing the glory of the old school Grinch.
Do you use tracing paper to do onion skinning? I have tried dabbling in traditional animation before myself, but I never got my head around the trick of keeping the picture as close to the last frame as possible to avoid wobbly lines etc.
